Goodwill Easter Seals of Minnesota (GES) is offering free, job training and placement for individuals looking for careers in construction, automobile service, information technology and business.
“Our classes run year-round,” says Jacqueline Reding of Goodwill. “We start new classes approximately every 7-12 weeks, depending on the class.”
GES instructors will teach the technical skills needed to be successful in the industry, while “Career Navigators” assist students with resume writing, interviewing, job search and advancement, and provide mentoring services for at least one year after graduation.
“We are looking for students who want a career in the industry,” says Reding.
